Google+ is the most comprehensive place to find out what a GMB is. GMBs are Google’s online business listings. Local businesses can customize what information they share to people searching for services. For example, your listing could appear in the map’s “For You” tab. The “Follow” button is also available, which isn’t widely known. The initial goal of a GMB is to get a following, which allows the business to appear in Google Maps’ “For You” tab. Once you’ve gained a following, you can showcase your product categories or feature your products in a listing.
